The Royal & Ocean golf courses at Vale do Lobo, in the Algarve, offer 36 challenging holes of golf available to play all year round. The two courses were designed by Henry Cotton and redesigned by American architect Rocky Roquemore.
On the Royal Course is the most photographed hole in Europe, the 16th, a par three that requires a carry over the cliffs. Both take players through streets lined with pines and fig trees to the edge of the cliff and along the beach.
This combination of links golf and indoor golf provides an enjoyable game for golfers of all skill levels.
